Requirement: CATERING MOBILISATION & REBRAND of 8 staff restaurants, taking catering from outsourced to in-house (post COVID-19)

5 Features of our unique approach:

  • We reviewed contract terms, trading account, caterer invoices, earnings & other paperwork.
  • We identified procurement savings of circa. £200k going from outsourced to in-house.
  • We coordinated a mobilisation team of specialists: branding / production / equipment / food safety / HR / exec chef.
  • We collaborated with client procurement / IT onboarding: 115 Vending machines, 1 Coffee Brand, 1 Till system & 14 suppliers.
  • We supported client HR to onboard and train 8 catering managers of a team of 50.

3 Key results:

  1. We facilitated a seamless transition of a fleet of 8 power station staff restaurants, across 8 locations (England/Scotland), in 10 weeks.
  2. We created a new catering identity, 8 site brand identities, marketing, menus & allergen comms (posters, leaflets, wobblers and badges).
  3. We trained the catering team giving them Level 3 HACCP, Level 3 Food Safety and Level 2 Food Safety training.
